Batch Clearing Account

Batch Clearing Account is used to auto-clear your Shogo accounting posting for your sales vs. the posting for your Batch Deposits; as these can often occur at different times, this account allows for Shogo to post your sales independently from your Batch Deposit posting. This is typically mapped to a special purpose clearing account of type "Other Current Asset" in your accounting system. Shogo does not recommend mapping this to a bank account or an Undeposited Funds account.
